Duo Nabbed In String Of Business Burglaries Across South Jersey: Police

Two men were accused of stealing from several businesses throughout Ocean County, authorities said.

Ryan Dautorio, 34, of Jackson Township, NJ, and Damian Sanchirico, 36, of Brick Township, NJ, were accused of several burglaries in Ocean County, including one at All Star Bagel in Manchester Township, NJ.

Ryan Dautorio, 34, of Jackson Township, and Damian Sanchirico, 36, of Brick Township, were charged with several counts of burglary and theft. The Manchester Township Police Department announced their arrests in a news release on Monday, May 20.

Manchester police responded to a reported burglary at All Star Bagel on Route 37 at around 12:24 a.m. on Friday, Apr. 26. Surveillance video showed a suspect shattering the front glass door, running behind the counter, and opening the cash register's drawer.

Investigators said the thieves stole the cash register and tip jar at All Star Bagel. Dautorio and Sanchirico were later identified as the suspects.

The duo was also accused of stealing from a business at Lakewood Industrial Park on Saturday, May 11. Police recovered all of the more than $20,000 in stolen property.

Sanchirico was arrested on Saturday, May 11 and Dautorio was caught on Wednesday, May 15. Officers executed a search warrant at a Jackson home linked to Dautorio and found more evidence.

Sanchirico and Dautorio were also suspected of burglaries at four Toms River restaurants: Breakin Bread Eatery, New York Water Bagel Company, Pizza & Panini, and Siga's Pizza. The men were held in the Ocean County Jail.
